This project was for Scene Painting class, and is a translucency. It is muslin, painted on the front and the back to produce a different look when lit from behind. If you point the mouse to the image you will see what it looks like when lit from behind.

The original painting is titled "Cafe Terrace at Night" by Vincent van Gogh, in 1888.
